Frank's last day out

Post by Elle »

My DR250, Frank, was in need of an MOT so we took a little jaunt to the local bike shop where he passed the test with flying colours. After 3 days of heavy rain, the sun had come out the play so I decided to take a little diversion before going home.
I know of a little by-way not far from Squires cafe but during my last visit, it was filled with cow poo and it wasn't a pleasant ride. But I thought it'd make a nice photo for my last ride out with Frank.

The trail was quite nice, a nice firm base and very pretty.

But then the puddles got bigger & a dog walker said they got deep too. So I turned around not wishing to get Frank overly dirty as he's for sale.

You should ride that one to NZ Elle. Too nice to let go.
Stay posted when you get there & spread the ABR forum word amongst the local bikers.
Good luck with your new life.
Have fun with your familly.

Wish I could ride to NZ but I'm due back at work in 2 weeks.
I'll try to keep folks updated on the Kiwi trails :)

Good luck with the new life. I had the chance to live in NZ when I was 19. I wimped out and still regret it 39 years later.
