Reverse route + extras

Posted up to our little expat group that "This Sunday playing" (thumbs)

Well sadly only Steve could make it, 2.45hr run for him but he turns up bright and bushy tailed at 10.30 so we grabbed a brew chewed the fat and i said asit was just the two of us if we could do a bit of "new route bashing" so set off at 11.00

I decided to kick off doing an old route in reverse



It realy amazed me how many trails ive missed and now see going the other way (thumbs)

Found a little off road link that passed this new build



Not realy into modern stuff but this somehow works for me



From here we dropped down into La Cave and had a coffee (thumbs) before the Graveyard run .................again done this loads of time DOWN but never up and saw this running paralle

I got the half way up and lost it



Looking back





Now Steve had the sensible hat on today and i the nutters but i listerned to him and we turned round !!

Back on route i .....wouldn't let it lie.... and spotted a way down to this gulch !!



Now you can't see it but in front of me was a 15ft cliff face :woohoo:

So i turned down hill with Steve running down the toproute taking pics :laugh:

Another new route took us to the hights



From here joined up several more new links and forgot to take pics .....untill this



Tiny and tight route alongside the River L'Ouysse and Steve seemed to like it :laugh:






UNTILL we hit this !!!!!!!



That is a steep slab of wet rock about 25M long !!! i managed to get half way up before slipping out !!! then it became and push me pull ya job :S

Now it's Steves turn !!! and bugger me he flew up !!! easy peasy :woohoo:



Soon after the trail opened up into this hidden meadow



Now due to being totally giddy the section after the meadow was a series switch backs maybe 15 climbing high and tight gravely fun .................i didn' t take any pics

This eventually brought us back onto a known route of mine , but again going the other way !!! where i took the wrong turn .....but got half way up :whistle:







After a few dead ends and crazy bits we found the smoker boys play ground ..... i had to have a go





Well being proper puffed out 1 go was enough ...but i'll be back

Now this has just been a small taster of whats here and this place is up and running now :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: sleeps 6 :whistle: gud grub :whistle: great trails and great deals (thumbs) (thumbs)

Mr X and the others had work and stuff on , you call by anytime Russ .....with tebags of course
