Pyrenees,lgks and the Stella

Post by bond_yzf »

Well me trip is over and where to start is hard but suppose from the beginning would be good

Fri 19/6/15 leave home and head for the chunnel, get to Bolougne sur mer and get me head down for the next days long ride to just north of Limoges.

The Ibis in Bolounge sur mer was recommended to me from some on abr as it has a secure gated car park, the town itself is a cracking little place and well worth a wonder round so that's exactly what I did, got the bike in showered and went for a wander....

Head back to the campsite and get the roadbook loaded for the morning

Image

I've never used a roadbook before and I'm so darn excited about what is coming I couldn't sleep that night :)

The scenery is stunning and its impossible to stop to take pics as you would never get anywhere.

End of day one and I'm just past ribes, nothing difficult about the first day mainly just fast open gravel sections
