First picture of the bike

Post by ErikGustav2 »

The dealer has mounted the extra that I ordered via them.
And that is how the bike looks now.

I had a set of items with me. In a suitcase that has been lost for some days. But was delivered yesterday.
So today I handed over my own equipment to the dealer.
Hand/level guards
Front fender rizers
GPS mount
USB+12V outlets +++

I still have some piecec that I want to fix with myself.

They shall try tp fix it on Monday. So in best case. I can pick up the bike on Tuesday

Attached is a picture of the bike. Still in the store.

Picking up the Bike

Post by ErikGustav2 »

Today, oct 11 was the day to pick up the bike.
Both the bike with extras and all the paperwork were ready.
It was only six days ago that I entered the store for the first time.

Of course, that was not a surprice to them We had planned this since quite some time ago.
And I had ordered the bike and extra equipment.

But 6 days was much less then I expected. Maybe it has something to do with that the manager of the whole buisness is german ?

They answered my first questions fast. And told me that they have had customers from many countries,. And that they knew who to do things. And that porved to be correct.

I was given the documents. We toke some pictures. And they also wanted to make a small comercial video. WIll I see it ??
I went out in the trafic jam of Bogota to find a petrol station. And the hotel. The bikeis now parked in the hotels garage.

Thanks to those who made this possible.

Royal Enfield Bogota Zona T

And Koju Motos that supplied luggage system and more

I know that you said that this thread is at the end, and very helpful it is too, but……..

Please please please consider a trip report for us with photos as well.
Some of us have been to South America and I’m sure we’d be interested to follow your adventures and see where you go.
Some of us dream of going and like inspiring stories.
Others don’t want to/will never be fortunate enough to go, but they can dream too.

……please. 😇

South America - travel blog

Post by ErikGustav2 »

I can't say no to such nice requests.

I have never been out on such a long trip before. Max 3-4 weeks in Europe.
I have some times wrote a diary. And taken a lot of pictures.
(That I will also do on this trip)
Then I have used some cold and dark periods during the Swedish winter to process the information.
Using real computer environment.
And expand the notes to more text.
Select pictures and process them.
(But....I stilla have not processed the iformation from the trip I did from Portugal to Sweden via Italy in April--May this year.
To busy restauring my cabin in Sweden during the summer)

I will be happy to share with you what is happening during the trip.
In an easy format. Some short post from time to time. WIth some highligts.
When there is something worth sharing.
A couple of pictures with some comments.

I will start a new thread for that
Thanks for the response.
