come on Paulinbont you can give better info than that remember this is a national forum so the more info the better many will probably have no idea where those places are, well done all, looking good so far thanks (other) Paul (not in bont but just 3 miles down the road).

South West. A fantastic site - stayed here a few years back for the ABR West Wales Rally hosted by Big Al. Right on the coast - coastal path along the bottom of the site - stunning location. Not far from the village of Marloes.

Snowdonia. Llyn Gwynant Campsite. Beautiful setting on the shore of a lake. Great roads all round
Only downside (from memory) was that no fishing was allowed

I've just got back from a week in Wales, I stayed at two sites and both were excellent.

The Bikers Campsite is just outside Newcastle Emlyn. I was the only one there but the owner still came out and cooked a meal for me.

It is basic in that at the time of writing there is no hot water to any of the basins, but there are showers and the facilities are spotlessly clean. There is also a drying room. They happily accept groups of bikes.

The other site I stayed at was Rynys Farm, just outside Betws -y-coed. This is a great spot and the site is pretty large so there is a lot of variety of where to pitch. There is a drying room and the toilets / showers are in old farm buildings, so rustic but clean.

There is no internet on this site, so payment is cash or cheque only. Also they have a rule of only accepting two bikes together.

Both sites are really quiet with no traffic noise at all, just birds and animals.
