Travelling to Greece via France and Italy - COVID tests

Post by Steve398 »

I’m planning a month long tour in June to Greece via France and Italy to catch the ferry into Greece, but from what I have read so far I need covid tests before entering each country.

My problem is that I’m only in France 3 days and Italy 2 days, and I believe I require a PCR for Italy with LFT for France and Greece.

Suggestions please?

I dont think you need anything for France if you have had the vaccines (and meet the timelines or had the booster)? just have to fill in their online decleration no within 14 days prior to leaving?

Or something like that ;)

France official information:
https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/covid-19- ... nal-travel

Italy
https://www.italia.it/en/covid19

I traveled ( Riding ) Spain-France-Italy.
There were no checks at any land borders.
(only airports do check)

The only checks were to enter some areas.
Restaurant, camping lots, hotels.
Where you needed a Covid19 certificate.
No testing, if you were vaccinated.

Things are easing up. And nobody knows how things are in June.
It is better if you search official information, than on forums like this.

Search for links and keep yourself updated.

Have a nice trip
