Route Guru required please.

Post by Beepee »

Hi folks, I haven't been on here for a while for various reasons.

Anyway, I'm collecting a BMW R1250 GS Rallye soon and will be travelling from Rybrook BMW to Scotland.

To break the journey we're going to stay in Blackpool on the first night, (Ayrshire to Wolverhampton then Blackpool), our plan is to head from there and do a trip through the Lake district taking in Kirkstone, Honister and wherever else. Probably book a night somewhere maybe Kendal or Keswick etc.

When I see bikers heading up here I always think "oh dear, why are they going that way, they are missing some great tours". I don't want to be that guy ?!

Any of you able to send me a gpx file with a cracking tour already planned ?

Cheers

If you’re looking for a lakes adventure then I heartily recommend the ABR one. I think it’s in the gpx files somewhere and takes most of a day.
