Scotland

Post by v8mark »

I’m heading up from Kent to Loch Lomond A82 in a weeks time. Just wondered if any one has any co ordinates or what 3 words for wild camp spots along that route up towards glen co or Inverness then over to the west. Thanks

Kingshouse in glencoe is a good spot, there's a shower and toilet now for the wild campers, just pitch up behind the pub.
Sort of wild camping with facilities. 😁👍

Almost opposite the Kingshouse - the wee road that goes down the Etive Glen (Skyfall film location) - It's a dead end after about 12 miles, but lotsof wild camping spots on the way down. There is a small car park at the end and an area to wild camp beside it.

Also, if weather turns nasty, there is a good campsite (with Pods) at Kinlochleven

Had a go at the council about that road, in years past you could ride through to the west coast, some idiot allowed the builders site that blocks the road, the council at the time said that they would make a foot path around it.
