Maybe if you're speeding like a loon then they consider you beyond education/awareness training so punishment is appropriate.
Personally I have never been on a speed awareness course .................... on the 3 times I've been caught speeding I wasn't given the option and on one occasion (on a motorway) I was only 2mph away from a court appearance :oops: :roll: .

I did an online one last year. For clarity, there is no "pass" or "fail". You just have to pay attention and get involved when asked a question. Its easy, and only 2 hours compared to the 4 hrs plus in person. Just get on with it.
