i was speaking to a pal of mine who lives in the area, he said most of the folk who are complaining have moved there in the last few years ,and came mostly from the south of england

It's a fine line between having too many tourists and not having enough to support the community. Maybe once we can fly abroad again and people get fed up of paying finance on the 4 wheeled driveway ornament then the numbers will drop to a more acceptable level .
We are planning on exploring parts of the nc500 in September on our bikes but having done Applecross 4 times we will probably cut that bit out in favour of other stuff we haven't seen, especially if it's still rammed with campers.
