Continental updates please

Post by Flipflop »

Hi.
All being well, it looks like we’ve got a road map to biking freedom in England.

To me it looks like local day rides from the 29th march, camping allowed from the 12th april, then total freedom (in England at least) after 21st June.

What’s happening over the water?
We have a ferry booked to Caen in July with a plan to travel down into Spain. Would be nice to get across to Ireland for a week at some stage too.

So, I was thinking about having a thread that documents restrictions and or lockdowns across Europe, whether local or national.

No moral or personal dilemmas please (and let’s not drift into a political debate), just government rules, guidelines and advice.

Thanks to those of you that live or work abroad for any information and let’s keep it updated.
Perhaps we can, not only dream about a holiday this year, but actually plan one 8-)

Spain is under the State Of Alarm until the end of May. I've just had confirmation that I will be paid to keep Spanish Motorbike Tours closed until at least the 1st June. The vaccination program is slow, only 7% so far in 9 weeks, and they want 70% vaccinated before opening for tourism, which they hope to reach by the end of September.
Current bike is a Yamaha T7
