Which OSM and from what source

Post by bikenav »

Like many I have been using OSM mapping for a number of years for non UK specifically trail stuff mainly from these below, there are others
http://www.freizeitkarte-osm.de/garmin/ ... tries.html
http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/
mainly the latter as I like the custom tile building method and find it usefull, tried the one below with no success
https://garmin.opentopomap.org/?fbclid= ... e0g#europe
As its possibly a good time to update a few of them I was wondering what experiences others may have had?
There are a few sources now and quite a variation of maps as well, came across this too,
http://tools.geofabrik.de/mc/#15/49.009 ... 3=here-map
it might demonstrate a little of what I am talking about if you are interested but not familiar. Thats a lot of links, good for a cold day for map fetishists.
