I think they are just trying to confuse us all, so no blame can be levelled at anyone in particular in the future after the apocalypse!!!!! Im working on my Mad Max bike as we speak and heading for the hills!!!!

I'm turning into a bit of a prepper too, fitted switches to my WR250 so I can turn the lights off and some extra fuel capacity....itl go on the trailer behind the Bug out Mobile

allegedly .. no cops around yesterday in s wales .. no military training at the ranges .. allegedly ... so either the virus has got all our `minders` .. or they are deployed on more urgent assignments .. or .. nah .. they can't all be on xmas hols??? ....
Perhaps they are saving themselves for a serious lockdown assault over xmas??

my mate went to tesco yesterday and said life seemed to be going on as normal, but with a bit less traffic
He said he is going to knock on loads of coppers' doors on xmas day to check how many household are there .. but he has started drinking again . and i am worried he is going to have his own personal lockdown courtesy of hmp .. I told him to go for it .. wot could possibly go wrong?
He also said he is going to scotland soon, on his monkey bike, to give a little lady fish a mask .. he gone crazy in da hed, man.
He said he going to downing street to check if they wearing masks, at the regular (lol) 4 nations meeting .. I sed, mate, they don't play rugby in that place ... its the higher place they get up to that sort of thing .. they got the numbers there, .. drunk as lords they be.

Just been out on Christmas day for a short bimble--500yds down the road and across the river they are in Tier 4--I just looked at the river (in Flood!)

Nice one, Just went out for a Push-bike ride but the roads near me are partially flooded making it a biit risky trying to ride near the crown of the road with chelsea tractors insisting on maintaining 60mph and 6" clearance, so came home after 30 minutes..shame really as its a nice day but we've had loads of rain and its still running off the mountains
Shoulda taken the Husky but I sorely need the excercise

I'm not in tier 4 so cannot comment re that , tier 3 here .
I have elderly parents that live 12 miles away for who I keep stocked up with food , milk etc and a good meal once a week. I often go round on the bike and just make sure I go the long way instead of the shortest.
I have been working since all this shit started and not once been stopped by the plod , actually seen very few around.

6 months ago you where a social pariah if you rode your bike for anything other than essential travel, the burden on the NHS if you where involved in a serious accident etc, nothing has really changed except people’s perceptions and interpretations of what they can do and not do

To be fair, I've never been worried about "the burden on the NHS" if I was involved in an accident and I won't start now.

I shall ride, live my life & if I'm unlucky enough to be injured whilst riding on the lovely, quiet, roads I can assure you, the burden on the NHS still won't be at the top of my list - I'll have more important things going through my brain (assuming it's not quivering on the tarmac).

Probably since Grown Ups felt able to make their own risk assessments of the dangers of solitary activities without having to get them approved by anyone else (wives excluded of course).
