due to a longish standing family issue being resolved over the weekend and the Mrs getting back from New Zealand late September I am now free to look at doing a trip. Looking at late September early October for a couple of weeks.
Looking for roads and mileage being the main criteria and hopefully a little warm, so Spain Portugal comes to mind, so I'm looking for routes and suggested roads please guys or idea's of other places. Euro's burning a hole in my pocket and tyres need a scrubbing in so do I.......
cheers Spud

Wills and the ladies (and possibly Simon?) are coming here for a few days trail riding and as the farm is located on the Spanish TET, it could give you a lot of entertainment for a few days as part of a longer trip?
Current bike is a Yamaha T7

Hi Spud
Spain and Portugal are the obvious choice and awesome too. I would be considering fly/hire to Greece too, it's lovely.
Cheers

Yep Spain and Portugal are at the top of the list at the moment, new tyres and MOT on the Tiger going to chuck a new chain on and a quick service and meditate to the hum of the tyres on tarmac I think.
Looking for some not to be missed roads
cheers Spud

Re: Travel idea's
Here’s my suggestions for Spain, I’m no expert but I’ve done these roads/areas a handful of times and they are simply fantastic
The Ronda Road - A397 from Puerto Banus up to Ronda.
The road to the east of Ronda A366, and down to Mijas.
The road from Puigcerda to sanbagiago, N260
The middle bit of Spain, south of Madrid across the plains
The Bardenas desert area near to Tudela
The coast road from San Sebastián west
Hope that helps. Others may be more specifics on the exact road names and towns but it’s a start
