NC500

Post by skinny »

The time has come, leaving Hertford today @ 9am,1 night in alnwick then onto Inverness for Friday afternoon, Skye on the list and loch Ness, then follow the route adding some of your good tips and advice. I'm riding a 1150gsa in white and my buddy a KTM adventure s, both sporting ABR stickers. I know that there is a few of you up there, give us a wave. Camping all the way, so fingers crossed for good weather! No work for 12 days:woohoo:

Pic works..
Enjoy your trip, and good luck with the weather.
It's a nice little tour, West side by far the more scenic.

Ride carefully, some of the roads are very narrow and have blind corners. They will be quiet busy as well. Enjoy the ride and scenery.

Have a great trip - I did it last year and really enjoyed it.

As far as pics go the best option is to use something like www.photobucket.com you just upload the photos to there and it will give you a line of code contained in [ URL ] tags that you just paste into your post and the photos will then be in your post (thumbs)

Up that way last weekend and it was truly excellent, however, the traffic levels have really escalated since the 'NC500' name came into existence !
Enjoy but remember those single track roads are the locals M1 and they are used to them being pretty clear at times and therefore looking to make progress.
