The next morning Ian cooked us a full breakfast and supplied us with coffee! Many thanks for that Ian if your reading,

Packed the bikes up and our next stop would be applecross...

Ian had decided to join us on his xt660, I had warned him the c90 may be to fast for him but we promised to take it easy for him

Heading out of gairloch and trough the Torridan mountains, the road is amazing but single track most of the way..
Riding through the mountain range just make you feel so small in this small part of Scotland it's very breath taking. Well worth the ride to get there.

We stopped in the trees and Ian showed us some pretty cool wild camping spots, thanks again ian!

As we heading further south the clouds were getting darker and darker, but I told Bernard it never rains in Scotland.. Yea right he says, laughing as he rode away haha

About a few miles from the applecross pass sign post it well pi##ed it down, it was then I said it never rains in Scotland it pours.

We stopped at the sign post for our heroic adventure picture!!!
A couple of Canadian''s took the photos of us in return we did the same for them,
They were amazed at the c90s, they asked are you going up and over the pass on those looking very puzzled... Which we replied yep sure are! And with that said we jumped on and followed Ian up the long steep incline,
Little 90 was down to 2nd gear and doing about 20mph but none the less still crawling along bit by bit...
We stopped on the first bend for some photos while we could see before the low cloud and rain got us at the top.
Photos taken and back on the bikes to what we thought was a going to be a steady ride to the top... Ermm wrong Bernard set off in 2nd gear on the incline and poor little 90 couldn't do it and he just stuck in to 1st gear with out dropping the revs.. Forgetting it dose not have a clutch..
Up she went on the back wheel and came smashing down half over the barrier!!!
Shit shit shit!!! Bernard are you ok... His bike in many peaces up and down the road! I jumped of my bike and ran over waving Ian down who was above us looking down at Bernard taking a nap.
Lifted the 90 off him and pulled it to the side of the road, Bernard was ok apart from his hand which we though was Broken at the time.
Picking up the bits off his bike up and strapping them to our bikes. We fixed the top box back on his rack with cable ties! And headed to the top of the pass
