Depending on which countries you travelling through - there are certain legal requirements on what you have to take with you - for example:
- hi-vis vest
- accident triangle - which comes as standard to fit on helmet on some first-aid kits
- set of spare bulbs
- there are some websites that give further explanation on this - can be found via google
- usual GB sticker
- not many people bother with the adjustment to headlamps
- original copies of bike ownership documents - and copies

Hope that helps get you started

Hey, me too. White f800gs.... Hope to see you... Gonna do Gorge Du Verdon. You have to try an old military road, that brings you to Tunnel du Parpallion. It's lite off road for about 30k.. It's not far from La Col du la Bonnette..

Oh, don't forget to bring a breatherliser test. Legal requirement in France from July.. ;)

Exactly where is that road mate?

Btw, although breathalysers start July 1st, government guidelines state that they won't fine over this until november, apparently not having one is only a fine of £12, hardly gonna break the bank if you forget to get one and get stopped.

Got to do the Grand St Bernard, Petit St Bernard and Col De Liseran! 3 superb passes. There's a fantastic clean campsite in Val d'Isere just before the Col De Liseran. Right at the top of the town.
