(But it was a joint effort of over a hundred of us to see how many aeroplanes could take off from one runway in an hour....we got over a hundred in about 15 minutes and ran out of aircraft so it could easily be broken again)

In the 1970s he bought a GL1000 Gold Wing from a guy in Falkirk, Scotland and used it to move house with his wife from Livingston, Scotland to Milton Keys.
They lived out of the bike for two months until he got the accomodation sorted.
