First adventure bike stolen in 3 weeks - Triumph Tiger 800 XCX

Post by rj006 »

Hi all,

I've just bought my dream bike, owned it for three weeks and it's been stolen. Gutted! It's my only form of transport and have worked super hard to get it - likely i'll lose so much on the insurance / finance that i'll not be able to replace it. Was only in the area for a weekend to celebrate my Mum's birthday.

Please share far and wide, trying to recover it if possible. Really appreciate any help on the matter. Details and link to share from are below:

Please share! Stolen in Leeds near Burley Park Station on Saturday afternoon in broad daylight. REG is HW15 ECE (Please click the link and share from within the page from the menu on the right) More details of bike in link.

Thanks all! Surely it can't be that easy to make a bike just dissappear :(

Not the best first post to have to make mate. I’ve made this a sticky to keep it current.
Hope it gets returned to you soon.

Thanks everyone. The VIN number and datatg numbers etc are on the link on there.

Is there a way to find the engine number and frame number without having the bike?

Frame number is the same as the VIN

Engine number will be on the form V5C, which you should have.

Worth circulating all the bike dealers in Yorkshire with the details.
