Mark if you need any info on a classic ie book price ect give me a shout I can ask a mate of mine who's jammy enough to be a collector, have you thought of a trip to the states to find a bike ?

Thanks for that, Spud.....you're right, USA would be a far better searching ground than here for a decent & reasonably-priced Tiger. I believe that 8 out of 10 Bonnevilles & Tigers were exported to the States between 1972 and 1983, so out of the 81,000 or so made that's around 65,000. Prices in the UK are quite high at around £8+ for an excellent example such as this Bonneville for sale at www.classicbikes.co.uk Luckily, I have a couple of old friends in the US which could make getting a US bike easier. Also gotta decide whether to go for an excellent bike or for an average/well-used example to work on.
