I have a set that have been used once and that was a dry trip, so pretty well perfect condition. Suggest you drop me a line if you're interested [email protected]. (Based near Kendal)

Re: Magadan panniers
I bought a brand new set of AS Magadan panniers for the X Challenge, built with the same custom frames as Walter himself. My 58-pattern panniers are canvas, with waterproof liners, that have lasted over 40 years. I was very disappointed that the Magadans lasted LESS THAN 2 MILES... attached as per the instructions from the vendor. Left hand pannier burned right through by the exhaust. The irony is, I was going to take some pictures for the vendor shop when the burning occured.... the irony. I have sent them away to be repaired (£48).
Take care with 'nylon' materials.
