I know many of you on here will know Paul Holroyd.
Owner of Takoda campsite @ Kirkby Stephen.
Last Sunday he was doing his job as a Highways agency officer protecting people on the M6 when an out of control car hit him and his colegue at the scene of an accident.
Paul is now in hospital with serious injuries, his colegue was killed.
Let's all give a fellow ABR our best wishes to recover soon.

Jesus, that sounds horrific. Bloody dangerous places motorways as I well know. I hope he makes a speedy recovery and my thoughts for his workmate's family.

Nasty!
My thoughts go out to the families and friends of both, and to Paul for a swift recovery.

Mods: don't know how this topic reply ended up as a separate thread? Can you merge them, please?

A really nice bloke who was always welcoming to me and others. I wish him a speedy recovery and hope Maria is being supported through this as well. My thoughts go out to his friends family as well.

I have never met Paul or been to Takoda [yet] but have read much about him here and hope he recovers soon. Travelled the M6 a lot and its not a good place to be out at an accident.

RIP too to his colleague, such a loss.
