Hello

New to the site. looking forward to reading the various posts on bikes and adventures...

I have a 2005 R1150 GSA SE, it's my second GS and when lockdown eases I'll be taking it out and about.

Photographs attached of my bike.

I live near York, in Yorkshire in the UK. Stay safe.

Chris

Hello and Welcome...!

wOw loving your 1150 GSA, I owned a 2004 same model as hours many years ago and should have kept it, such a fabulous machine for sure..! You keep your Beamer nice and clean. Have you owned it long..?
I've just spotted your rear Ohlins suspension unit fitted - quality Sir.

You live in a beautiful part of the UK, looking forward to your motorcycling input - photography and ride reports.

Best regards;
Peter

Hi Peter

Yep, she's a lovely bike. The suspension is pretty sweet.

It's pretty new, I had an old 2002 GSA which I sold and immediately regretted it so treated myself this year to this one.. Wasn't;t looking for an SE but someone nudged me and I couldn't resist.

Where was location of the photo you took - it's superb.

Lots of decent roads around the area. Are you a keen photographer? I like to have a dabble, but being old and long in the tooth I shoot film rather than digital. I use my dads old Minolta x700 which takes some lovely shots.

Where in Scotland are you based... In normal times we go there 2 or 3 times a year.. beautiful part of the work.
