Hi,
I've been subscribed to the magazine for a while now but as I ride a BMW RT didn't feel that posts were too relevant to me......
However, here I am fast approaching 60 years old (end of the year) and I've recently swapped to a Tiger 800 XRT and find myself planning a trip to South Africa as a present to myself next year, Covid 19 permitting.........
As a result of these 2 events I will probably find the need to dig into the knowledge base that is present on this forum!

Welcome from just across the water in sunny Kent.
You would have been welcome as an RT owner and by now you’d have worked out where the level of knowledge is on this site

Welcome from even sunnier East Sussex.
We just had a couple of weeks driving along the coastal strip from Cape Town in South Africa and you won’t be disappointed. Great roads, virtually no traffic, great scenery, great food and drink and (we had) mostly great weather.
