well hello all im anthony from not so sunny st helens
after ridng sport bikes for 15 year both uk an 6 vists to gods island the great isle of man its time for me try an off road bike my r1 big banger was sold last week an im picking up my new ride a yamy tenere nexy thursday
my good pal tenere martin off here is teaching me the ropes and the basics about clothing and the yamy 660
ive no clothing at all to go off roading all my gear is based on sports bikes so hes lending me some gear till i get sorted with my own kit
im after a
lid size med
jacket size large
pants 34 waste
gloves size large
boots size 9
if anyone local ish to has anything for sale let me know
im taking my first proper ride onthe tenere on the 20th an hoping all goes well think me an tenere martion plus my mate paul who has a 1100 bmw with roads tyre ? will see our first bit of mud off road an i dont end up rolling down a hill
anyways quick hello to all hopefully il be seeing some of you out an about as im trying to more miles in than i did on the r1 only did 2035 in 15 months on it ?

I think you'll find that most members of the 'off roading gang' don't go off road much... or at all. I ride a Transalp because it's reliable, copes with the shitty, mud filled, pot-holed back roads of Scotland perfectly. Good choice with the Yamy 660 though.
