Ey up all. Been hanging around the forum for a while and have decided to register.
I'm Simon. Been riding for 30 odd years. Have been heading over to Spain at least once a year for the last 15 years. Over the last couple of years I have had to travel to Normandy and Germany for work and because of this, I have started to head over there on the bike a bit more.
I used to ride British bikes (the original Triumphs and Nortons) and have been riding Harleys for the last 16 years. I currently have an XR1200X which has done an excellent job of dispatching miles in the Pyrenees, Andorra to Calais in a day (which was fun with a 12.5l tank!), France, Belgium and Netherlands.
This year I've got a run to Brittany and Normandy in May and Belgium, Germany and Netherlands in September with my wife on her SV650.
In all, life is good. Hope it is with you too.
Cheers
Simon
