Re: ABR Midlands Rally 2017 sign up thread (7th-9th July)
This is going to read a bit Hollywoodesque but it has to be said.....
I hope you all enjoyed the weekend, I sure did. So that's a big thanks from me to everyone who attended and made the ABR Midlands Rally such a chilled out and friendly event.
I can honestly say that not once did I think 'I'm working here' which to some degree was down to a large bottle of Jack Daniels but far more importantly to Euni, Treadtrader, Bryn and all the ABR staff who helped set up the site and course and made sure that things went as smooth as possible.
High fives to the volunteers; Dave (Spannerfingers) for leading a green lane run plus Yoshi and the other back markers (who's names I do not have) for making Saturdays green lane runs such a success. We may have set a world record with the numbers who took part.
And a doff of the cap to KTM for buying everyone Sunday breakfast and supplying the DJ on Saturday night – wasn't that KTM security guy just great. He came over to me on Sunday morning and said even if I'm not employed for the rally next year I'll be here, I've had such a great time.
We'll be holding the rally in the same venue next year on the first or second weekend in July. I'll confirm over the next few weeks but 6-8th July is looking favourite. See you all there.

obviously popular!!--I self catered but had a "late " breakfast on Sunday--virtually no queue(I'm not good at it so choose my moment)--excellent-especially considering that he had been flat out for two hours.

I thought he did well considering he was on his own. Could have been worse and raining. Would have thought that knowing KTM were giving away breakfasts, he'd got some help though
