A couple of minor detours on my ride to work and another four are in the bag....
H – Haunted House (Abandoned Building)
I’ve never seen any ghosts here so I’m guessing it complies as the latter
U – University
If you look closely, it actually says University three times on the front of this building so no doubt where we are then, University of Northampton’s Student Centre if you hadn’t spotted it!
F – Forest
Salcey Forest, signs on every approach road but surprisingly difficult to find somewhere to stop. There’s a perfect sign at the entrance to the car park (and café) but someone had parked a Forestry Commission van right in front of it this morning
W – Wind Turbine
Actually a whole wind farm, the M1 Wind Farm near Junction 15

R - Race Track
Northampton International Raceway is Britain's oldest stock car racing oval apparently!
And spot the ABR sticker!

Still got two KTM's at home but I wanted a commuter bike that wouldn't keep breaking down!
Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the sake of reliability

Q - Quarry
Manor Farm Quarry, Old Wolverton
Another small detour (about 500m) from my daily commute. I had intended to park the bike in front of the quarry sign but 1) it was behind the large pink truck in the background and 2) it doesn't actually mention the word Quarry on it!
So this one had to suffice (that's the quarry gates on the right of the truck)

T - Telephone Box
The last surviving K6 Kiosk designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in Milton Keynes in the original village, sadly BT are currently planning to remove it.
