Lough Navar Viewpoint (Cliffs of Magho), Co Fermanagh. One of the best viewpoints in the Province, with a great forest drive up & down from the viewpoint. Commanding views over Lower Lough Erne & west towards the Atlantic Ocean. Two memorials to Flying Boat Crews from WW2 also up here. Site used to be surrounded by forest, but this has now been harvested, so quite exposed now. Couple of picnic tables to avail off.

Directions from Enniskillen. Take the Derrygonnolly Rd (B81) , continue through Derrygonnolly Main Street, follow to the end. Take a left turn unto the Glennasheevar Rd, the entrance to Lough Navar Forest is about 1.5 miles on the right. Follow the forest drive to the viewpoint at the end.

Seacoast Road, Co Londonderry - not too far from Magilligan Point where you can get the ferry over to Donegal (when operational).
A great place to stop, lots of picnic tables, BBQ facilities & a covered area with a table & seats to avail of if the weather is not great. Would easily accommodate a large group of bikers. Great views towards Binevenagh Mountain and forest.

Directions. From Limavady take the Seacoast road following signs for Downhill and Magilligan Ferry, continue on the Seacoast Road until you cross over the River Roe, the Picnic area is just on the right after you pass over the bridge.

Stopped here yesterday on my travels. Belcoo village, a border village in County Fermanagh. A great spot to avail of a break under cover. Toilets here too. Nice view across the parkland that leads down to the shore of Lough Macnean Lower.

Belcoo is surrounded by lots of great roads, both in Fermanagh and across the border bridge in County Caven

Seagahan Reservoir, Co Armagh. Nice tucked away spot, large carpark and a couple of picnic tables with nice views across the reservoir.

Directions from Markethill - take the B3 out of the town towards Keady, after about 4 miles look out for the brown sign indicating to turn right for Seagahan Dam, follow the road down to the dam, to get to the picnic area, take the next right and cross the dam, then take the first right and follow alongside the shore of the reservoir, at the far end take the first right (Foley Road) which will lead you down to the site. A good selection of B roads linking Markethill to Keady, Newtownhamilton,Crossmaglen, Forkill and Newry to explore as well as countless single track roads .

Back to County Fermanagh today - sadly not on the bike - but stopped here for lunch. Muckross Bay. Lower Lough Erne. Beautiful spot - especially on a day like this. Great facilities - including toilets. I imagine it would be a busy spot during weekends/holidays, but a fair bit of room.

From the village of Kesh, head out towards Pettigo/Donegal (A35) after crossing the bridge at the end of the village, take a left onto the Muckross Rs & follow to the end
