Thanks again for the comments. Simon, you are one lucky man having all that at your doorstep.

Anywwy day 6 started with some rain-we were in no position to complain considering the weather up to now. We headed north on the C13 then the C28, another impressive mountain pass road and the N 230 where just before the French border we diverted up a single track road which ended at a village called Canejan,another lovely Spanish mountain village with great views, and the sun had come out again

We grab a coffee in the small cafe with walls adorned with various hunting trophys, then head back down the road and unto the N-230.

We cross over into France via the N141 & D518A, however the rain and mist returned and tempertures dropped going over, so we cracked on.

200 miles north and we arrived at our campsite at Saint Justin, where we availed of Giets instead of pitches as a treat and to enable us to get on the road earlier the next day

Day 7 consisted of motorway riding with the last 60 miles of the 360 miles covered on B type roads to our campsite approx 30 miles north of La- Mons

This site set us up nicely for the last bit of our trip-a mini D Day tour.

Tomorrow we would head for Caen via a non motorway and twisty road route on one of the groups sat nav

Day 8 and the weather turned wet again, however as we got closer to Caen via some lovely rural French roads the clouds broke and the sun came out again in time for our arrival at the musuem at Pegasus Bridge
