A miserable day today, so thought i would share my visit to the airshow at Newcastle yesterday.

Weaherwise, perfect, very lucky as Friday and today was pretty bad

Had a look round some of the stalls

What i came for, the Lancaster, onlywish i had a decent camera

It was a great spot, as some of the jets came low over Slieve Donard behind us and flew down to the bay below

Very hard to spot in the pics,

The Vulcan was also there, but we had to leave early, and it came over as we were making our way down through the trees, but what a noise as it passed over

For anyone interested in viewing some good footage of the Vulcan, it was here last year and there is some good videos of it if you search youtube under Newcastle festival of flight

The Red Arrows were up to their usual jaw dropping preformance

Good reports all round for this show. Glad the weather held out for it. Hope for the same for the Portrush show.

I missed this one, unfortunately work getting in the way of real life.
