Drumkeeragh Forest Park

From Dromara,Co Down

Take the Rathfriland road out of the village towards Finnis. After passing the Petrol station take the first road on the left - the Castlewellan Rd, which continues into the Drumnaquoile Rd. The new Forest Carpark is further up on the left. Picnic tables and great views. A popular spot so early mornings and late evenings are best. Lots of great roads in the surrounding area.

Jenkins Lakes, Co Tyrone

An area of forest roads and lakes. Located off the Cooneen Rd, South of Fivemiletown. A remote area skirting the border with Co Monaghan. A lovely area to explore.

Dunseverick Harbour, Co Antrim. Located off the Causeway Road, roughly half way between the Giants Causeway and Ballintoy. Coming from the Giants Causeway its at the end of a single track road just after the Dunseverick Castle carpark. A lovely spot with ample parking, Public Toilets and a couple of picnic tables.

If you are passing by Whitehead might there be any chance please of your taking a photo of 55 Cable Road, plus one down by the swimming baths if they are still there?

I spent many happy holidays there as a child with my father's family. Sadly there is nobody any longer there but happy thoughts are :D

The sea front at Whitehead. Another nice place to ride down to.

Further along the coastal road A2, east of Carrickfergus.

Greetings,

Thank you so very very much for these photos, totally made my day  Such a wonderful place, the train station, baths, shore and places to visit.

I shall be sending a copy to my cousin who used to live there but now lives down in Bournemouth.
