I presume that that must be by invitation only?

I can't see any vehicular public rights of way up there

A long time ago I was involved in a search of that bit of land . . . . . . . . . for a missing cluster bomb  :woohoo:

And I don't mean just a missing bomblet, but a whole blo*dy bomb! Failed to arm after release, so it all stayed together, not bursting open and spraying death in every direction, as designed

So if you do get to wander some more, mind yer step :S

PS - we did find the offending item . . . . and promptly made a big hole in the counrtyside when we atomised the MoFo :woohoo:

I used to deliver the ordnance that they fire up there, I never knew you could ride there.

Perhaps you're allowed to ride on certain days of the year like some parts of Salisbury Plain?

I think the best time to ride there is during the Lambing season as there is no live firing, or blanks due to the fact it scares the sh*t out of the litt'lins.
I spent alot of time up there during my TA days.

Im up there quite a lot and iv never seen any bikes around on the area but id love to do some exploring on the bike in stead of a 32t wrecker.

Has anyone been up that way to see if you can go anywhere up there.
