We don't do much on Boxing day so would welcome suggestions? Not especially involving BBQ's but a meet somewhere in the Highlands?
So, count me and Fiona in!
thought you folks up there sewed yourselves into your tartan longjohns and lived off the nuts, berries, salt fish and scotch you had buried while waiting for the 10' of snow to melt?

Nah, we just use the Scotch as anti freeze and go out play in the snow!

And no salted fish now, we learnt how to put mackerel into a tin! Keeps for yrs! Especially if buried in the snow!

A meet up in Aviemore or Tomintoul? Snow permitting?

Wet & warm on Boxing day, according to latest Met forecast, so I'm up for a bimble. Be good to put some decent miles under the wheels instead of just the usual commute.
Tomintoul / Lecht for bacon roll & coffee, with "snow fun" at some point in the ride

Forecast sounds good Steve, only problem I now have is Iain Frazer the engineer from Buckie has been off work all week so far, he's on call for Boxing day. If he doesn't recover by tomorrow I've been pencilled in for Boxing day as I'm senior engineer! :(
I'll know better tomorrow if he turns up for work, fingers crossed!

Hi mate. I am over in Skem so not too far away. I'd be up for a ride and am sure JClive and maybe a couple of others would be up for a Boxing Day ride. We met up at Rivington Barn last year.
Why? Why not?
