Unfortunately I'm the wrong end of the country to be of any help..... but I add my wishes for a speedy recovery. (I've had a blowout on the motorway myself, fortunately without injury.....it's a horrid experience :( )

Sorry to hear about the blow out, it could have been much worse at that speed.
Thought that there was a BMW Motorrad in Glasgow but probably very expensive, better to pick up some second hand replacements.
Just as well the pannier broke away or it could have bent the rear sub frame.
Probably could wire up the pannier to still use it, not sure if the police will let you ride the bike away.

I am in the central belt and wind has just started to die down, must venture out and see if anything has blown away.

Hi Folks,

Thank you for all the knd words and offers of help for Avshay. We are now ar Oldie's and are leavng my bike here for the duration. Avi's bike is being recovered by BMW to Edinburgh for assessment.

We've hired a car, it's a Honda... maybe that helps with the bike connection, a small blue Jazz!

Anyway, thank you to all, especal Alan and Mrs Alan for ther hosptalty and safekeeping of the bke.

See you all n Ullapool :)
