Great to meet everyone and to enjoy the glorious British weather! The Spada worked well but the boots got a tad wet, not so bad considering that we went through about 8 fjords! What brilliant fun
The sweeping bends that turn to hairpins with a small river flowing down the middle for that extra bit of 'twitchy' arse syndrome.
After some fun on the passes of Cumbria it was a stop off for some scampi and chips at the Wolfpack.
Big Dave had to pull off after that and the rest of us headed over Corny Fell and back to the A595 towards the M6.
Many thanks for the company, the ride and of course the free drugs B) It's working a treat on the foot!
Lancaste Mick - I'll catch you on the next one buddy or are you going to the Ace on Sunday?
Some pictures of the North West Adventure Riders out doing their thing B)
Until the next ride out be safe. (Watch for falling wallets!)

I think that's too subtle for some... my left foot indeed! :whistle:mark1150 wrote:I didn't realize famous Hollywood actors were along for the ride, is that Daniel Day Lewis waving in the background?doctorzippy wrote:Great ride despite the weather. Wrynose and Hardknott were interesting with the rivers flowing across them, and we had some nice puddles to splash about in. Lunch was good too.
Nice to meet James, Dave, Mark & Paul, pictured here somewhere on Hardknott, I think!
