Bike friendly campsite near pub, Mid Wales....?

Post by Rob 110 »

Looking for somewhere in the triangle north of Rhayader towards Machynlleth/Dolgellau, or northeast towards Bala/llangollen/Oswestry.

Needs to be walking distance to food/pub/takeaway

There's a few I know and use, but looking for somewhere new.
Thanks

if you wanto push the boat out this place is pretty unique with apub 5mins away whacky place to stay ..and trails on the doorstep ..dead informal huge mezzine kitchen ovelooking the cistene chapel spar 100 yards it really is a ace little gem ..25 quid is at the very top end for a bunk room but you get yopur breakfast thrown in and it is somthing out of the top drawer

Thanks for the link to the Heart of Snowdonia bunk room, looks great and might just give that a try. Have you stayed there?
