Wild camping in south Wales.

Post by vermin »

If anyone wants to wild camp near Brecon try www.solid-wood.co.uk it's a managed woodland for £6.00/night you have a wood to play in, no electricity or running water, just a spring and composting toilet. Help yourself to wood from woods for camp fires.

This looks lovely! Peaceful, tranquil and enjoy the stars. Bring some basic cooking gear and a solar shower bag.

I emailed them to see if you can get a bike up to the camping pitches...they said something about using a wheelbarrow to transport stuff if need be, so there must be a fairly good trail....
Looks really good though!

This makes a refreshing change from some of the money grabbing commercial camping sites. looks peaceful, I'll be giving this a trial in the spring

Quad bike will go up there... you'll get your bike up there :D

"The car-park is 300m from the clearing, but we can lend a wheel-barrow or shuttle kit for you with our quad bike if you have lots."

One to stick in the favorites. Cheers
