Some of that puddle is still in my boots, all part of the fun.

It was my first time off road and loved it, crapping my self on some parts (well most of it) but loving it anyway :woohoo: :pinch: :silly: (thumbs)

it was a great laugh and nice to put faces to names, looking forward to getting some more off road practice in before the next one and maybe then I wont wimp out and try a ford  I'll need to speak to Si and get a couple of easy byways routes

I will get some photos off my phone later and post them up later but sadly no usable vids as my skills with the head cam need a bit more practice  thought I had Kate in the big puddle and Ollie conquering the even bigger puddle and jump (thumbs) impressive but all I had was the grass at my feet

Bike is in the garage still looking like it should...
VERY VERY DIRTY
Ollie going back and nailing that puddle was one of the moments of the day for me - that and his crossing on the unknown left hand side of the next really deep one... up on the pegs with the bike slewing around in the sludge. Well and truly got that monkey off his back!

Hope you get your rim sorted Ollie (thumbs)

By the pics and comments, looks like I missed a fantastic trail riding weekend :)
I recognise the wooded one with the deep chalky ruts from my visit to Wiltshire last summer. Doesn't look like it has improved.
So many new faces and names for the event, that's great to see (thumbs)

Danielle (DW) and I (DK) managed to take a few photos. See the links below:

With regards to speeding on The Plain, the rough track that runs parallel to the northern perimeter track is now legal, which (in my book) makes the northern perimeter a dual carriageway...

Fun and games,

Dave
Thanks for leading the group, riding with you guys has really upped my confidence :)
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Thanks for a great day of riding Mike and the team. Amazed just how good Salisbury Plains is, apart from those puddles which we decided to have a lie down in. Didn't get many pics but a few here.

Would just like to echo what everyone else has said. Great rally - fantastic organisation Mike. Sorry I had to leave early - will stay the course next time. Cheers
