I'll see you all at the meeting point for the crossing - thinking of coming on my little 125, my thinking is it will be easier for me to catch any slips.

Bike got prepped last night, changed the slightly scary front Dunlop D908 for a Pirelli MT21 in the end, did a quick 30 mile ride to check it was OK and well satisfied.

Hopefully knock off at 12.00, twenty minutes to get home, grab some lunch, load bike, get changed and hit the road by 1.00, Baysbrown Farm between 6.00 and 7.00

NO MORE SLEEPS TO THE LAKE DISTRICT!

ONE MORE SLEEP TO PIEL ISLAND!
You'd better hope the M6 doesn't turn into a carpark this afternoon because even if you use the toll road it can get pretty grim from the end of the toll road right through to Haydock on a Friday afternoon.

I'm not going to be able to make it because I'll be spending the weekend under a steam turbine between Widnes & Warrington so no doubt it'll be a scorcher :(

I'll second that, well worth my 530 mile round trip including the big girlie tour of the passes.

Spoke to few and they'd like a sticker Mike, see what you can do please.

Many thanks for your efforts Mike and thanks to all other participants for making it a success.
