Not for 2 years. And I was led round last time so apart from Rutland Rigg I have no idea of the other trails we rode. Im heading over in a few weeks to scout a good route. Anything I should be concerned with?johnnyboxer wrote:Mike - Have you ridden the trails in north Yorkshire moors?

Re: Ecky Thump Trail Ride
Sad news, was looking forward to this
I'm up for a 2nd group.
No sat nav, but I can read a map just need help finding lanes, can someone supply grid refs, please.
I'm a complete novice when it comes to hard/technical trails but was looking forward to more than the chalk tracks & bit of mud that I'm used to.
As Minkyhead said, there is the possibility of beer :woohoo:

It's actually an 1100 but its got an 1150 tank and beak to further confuse the issue ! ... Gear lever is still the streamlined version !!! ... Still ..if its not there it can't break

It would be great to join you. Can I add my name to the list
Cheers
Just couldn't make a promise like that  , so I will need to gracefully withdraw and let somebody off the reserves list in.
Seriously, I won't be able to come to the rally as hoped, due to change of plans.
Have a great ride, and I look forward to seeing the pictures of what I have missed
