Blimey matey, that sounds bad! In Northamptonshire, we seem to have missed out on all the wet stuff today. Been warm and sunny most of day.

What a shame- it takes a bit of time to get it all loaded! Still, have a great time time in the L/R.
Just a thought, instead of using elastic bungies to tie down your bags, have you looked at Rokstraps? They are brill- much safer to use and hold kit down better than bungies.

Re: What camping chair ??

To save space and weight go for one of the tripod stools. Cheap too! It's good enough to get you off the ground and ok whilst you have a coffee and quick meal.If you want to sit around longer and want more comfort you'll have to find more room for the fold up chair type.

Re: Caponord v Varadero

Usually get about 220 miles before refuelling. Never taken it off road, not brave enough! Pity that you h...

Re: advice recomendations France please

Alsace/Lorraine area is well worth a visit- some great roads, food and wine. May be a bit far for just 2 days? We have found most regions in France just fine although we try to avoid cities. Suppose it all depends what your interests are. For accomodation in France I would recommend booking ahead on ...

Advice for a Newbie please!

Having recently joined the ABR site, I wonder if someone could offer a bit of advice on a couple of things please. A quick intro first- I live in the Midlands and own a Varadero which I have used to tour Europe many times and currently getting final details planned for a trip over to Germany in a fe...
