Re: A photo you took, today

Been for two weeks in Philippines (Puerto Princesa, El Nido and Coron). Apart from dogs and cows in the middle of the road, plus tuc tucs doing U-turns without giving a damn of who's on the road, had a great time riding their wild roads!

Re: HELP, Engine Problem

My original idea was that the clutch plates could be stuck together, so I let it run for a while, gave it some good revs, pull the clutch a few times and when finally put it into gear, it cuts instantly... Tried this a few times... and it rolls easily when in gear with the engine off! :? :(

I got it out now for a full service prior to sell it, although I'm finding a very strange problem that didn't happen when I stored it. Bike starts on the button, sounds OK, has new air filters, new fluids all over, new fue...

Re: Wanted, BMW F650GS

I've also got the 650gs Twin as the 800 was too tall for me. Have it from new at 30k trouble free miles and serves me very well for everything I put it up to, commuting, travelling (14 countries and counting..) solo and two up and still happily pulls to 90mph on motorways fully loaded, and off-road....

Re: Creepy things you've seen while riding

Don't need to go that far. A couple of years ago, when all the immigration problems started in Calais, I crossed to France on the tunnel. After 5 mins or so of leaving the train, in a very very dark night, I could just see crowds of people walking randomly in the field around the road as if it was a...
