I was surprised when my 955 Tiger failed for the same at 28k miles. I was even more surprised when I saw how rusty the bearings were due to water ingress! We've stopped in Fussen a couple of times, another fine castle nearby, Newschwanstein. Agreed, Germany is a very fine country with so much to see.
