In the back of a mini, that would have been a sight to behold, yes the old 50cc's got a bit of abuse back then, i remember taking mine to a local forest park with a mate on a Yam fisie and we wolld ride them along the forest walks, great fun.

Thanks for that, i must have a look in Amazon for that book, there was quite a range of mopeds in the 70's, cant beat the odd trip down memory lane

Yep some great stories so far, and the Puch, a name i had forgotten about until you mentioned it, i remember one or two about in my 50cc riding days, if i remember rightly they came in a maroon colour, maybe they did other colours, but that is the colour i remember. Thanks for your imput Flintlock

You are a bit handy with the gopro Tom. I have a kodak playsport but have not got round to linking it to youtube. Will have.to make time to suss it out.

Thats a nice wee circut, do they take any money of you to get into the forest park
