Re: Good Looking Motorcycles That You’ve Owned

I'm not sure I still have any pics of either, but my Moto Morini 500 SEI-V in black and red with gold pinstripes, the Aprilia Pegaso that replaced it: and now my Aprilia Mille RSV1000.

Oh gawd...the Suzuki DL800 is looking better by the day.

Surely KTM recovery are obliged to recover it to the nearest franchised dealer...if not tell the dealer he can send his own van out or you'll reject the bike and take him to court.

I'm 64 now...and my 60th birthday was spent listening to my heart monitor while waiting for the pacemaker to be put in.

Thanks for your advice at the time...it was much valued.

I'm planning on doing the Lands End Trial again this year...with my 2 brothers. Probably just the daylight bit.

Re: 2012 ktm 990 adventure For sale / swop 690 701

I have to say that my GasGas ES700 (red 690) can do most of what my 950 can do on the road, and is far superior off the road, or in traffic etc. But to serve as my 'business jet' travelling from Cornwall to the midlands and Heathrow it would need better weather-protection AND the ability to mount Gi...

That would be a wise buy for someone...value of the 9X0 bikes can only go up. My opinion is they are something of a high point for KTM: simple and unfussy once sorted. Plus, great fun to ride.
