Re: How long could I leave my bike abroad?
So what you guys are saying is that there seems to be no fully legal and legitimate way of travelling Europe or the world? Not without returning to the uk to update the MOT annually?

Re: Easy inflate airbed.
One thing I've noticed with expeds is they are NOISY! Every time I'm camped next to someone with an exped it sounds like a fight between Michelin's Bibendum and a tyre factory!

Re: Easy inflate airbed.
Re: the cheap airbeds ie the Hi-Gear from Go Outdoors. The gf and I purchased 2 for our France trip and both started leaking, 1 after 4 nights the other after about 7. While in France, in the pouring rain finding the leaks proved impossible, even with the use of a campsite's swimming pool! It put us...

Easy inflate airbed.
Just seen this
Windcatcher Airpad
I like the idea about how fast it is to inflate, it uses the venturi principal. I was wondering if anyone else has owned one as it is quite expensive. I would like to know if it is worth the investment and how long it lasts.
Cheers!

Re: Aftermarket speedo
Have to nod to the push bike speedo! Used one from Halfords for a couple of years when the one on the bike died. ONLY problem...no light. Ended up wiring a 12v led onto a piece of bent metal over the little speedo head. MOT, no problem, accuracy was perfect as you programmed in your tyre circumferen...

Re: staying in NZ
You shouldn't tell people this...because now I demand that I come to your place in January, you put me up for 2 months, provide me with a motorcycle and show me the delights of NZ. In return I'll buy you a nice cup of tea...
Well jealous.

Re: CRF 250L First service question
If it's a 2012 CRF then it's already well out of warranty...surely? Unless you're mechanically savvy as other posters have said get it serviced by a reputable workshop and keep the receipts for any future buyer.

Re: New Africa Twin in MCN today
Thanks V_King and puppycharmer. I honestly was labouring under the impression that the NC only had one injector as it only has one throttle body. I'll look into that as my mate has one. I am not yet convinced about the number of throttle bodies either as the cutaway could be misleading. There's only...

Re: New Africa Twin in MCN today
Dammit V_King! I think you maybe right. You've just ruined my blog post AND spoiled what I was hoping to be a good feature of the bike. To cap it all off someone else has posted my error on the blog too.
