Going Pear Shaped!
I posted a couple of days ago about the butterfly flap sticking in my exhaust. After a few goods replies and some reading and research, I decided to replace the valve with a piece of pipe bought from Nippy Normans for £29. £29 was a lot better than paying the £350 +fitting that I had been quoted for...

Re: ABR MALVERN HILLS RALLY 2016
Hello John,
It's been ages since I came to a rally, if it's not too late, can you put me on the list please?
Cheers

Re: central white lines
On a crossing you have a flashing amber light after the red and if the crossing is clear you may go. On a standard light system there is no flashing amber and you may only go on green.Tramp wrote: question....whats the difference between a tocan and std crossing pedestrian traffic light sequence

Re: central white lines
A few years ago the coast road between Bridport and Weymouth was resurfaced - some clown in the local highways dept thought it would be a good idea not to paint the white lines at the edge of the road. Their decision to do this was based on something similar that was done in The Netherlands - troub...

Re: GS Adventure Exhaust Valve / Flap
I replaced my flappy thing about 6months ago. There's no difference in day to day use. Nippy Normans and I think motoworks sell the link pipe for about £30. But if you look on UKGSer there's a sticky somewhere on replacing the valve giving the dimensions of the link pipe needed and a step by step g...

GS Adventure Exhaust Valve / Flap
My dealer has told me that the exhaust valve thing inline on the pipe is no longer working on my bike and typically, it isn't covered on the extended warranty. They want about £350 for a new one. Anyway, I've been told that it can be taken away by replacing the bit of pipe with a short section. Has ...

I've been to a couple of bike meet and camped at Wyeside Camp Site http://www.wyesidecamping.co.uk/home.html
It's also just a short walk into town and some good pubs etc.
