Re: Brittany Ferries - anyone know what's going on?

Three of us were booked to travel from Santander to Plymouth on it last Monday after doing some TET in Spain and Portugal. It was only when we got in touch to try and change our crossing due to a (self inflicted) bike problem that we were told there wouldn't be any crossings for at least 2 weeks!! T...

Re: Royal Enfield Bullet trials

After buying an Enfield Bullet buyers guide book by Peter Henshaw decided the Bullet 500 Electra X was the one for me. 500cc long stroke engine, a five speed gearbox with a left hand shift, a carb rather than fuel injection but a disc brake that looks a bit naff, but never mind...... Then read far t...

Re: Royal Enfield Bullet trials

Thanks for the reply, but it looks like I didn't explain what I meant very well........ I've got other bikes that handle well and go like the clappers, but fancy something completely different for a bit of fun and a change of pace when the mood takes me What I really should have said was - does anyo...

Re: Royal Enfield Bullet trials

I keep fancying one of these for bimbiling about the B roads on, but only going on the way they look, sound and thier cheapness compared to more genuine stuff. So if anyone has had or got one are they any good?? Not bothered by handling, performance or even finish that much as am realistic, but what...

Re: Honda CRF450L Anyone Else Got One?

I saw a bit with her on the 450L the other day, and whilst have no basis for my theory, suspected it was a Honda driven thing hoping some of the sales she generated with the 250 would rub off on the 450?

I know the stories of the reliability of her 250 at huge milages was a factor when I bought one 👍

Re: Is the TRF still worth joining?

Like others have said, go along to a meeting or better still some rides and see how it goes..... I've been lucky enough to belong to a great group who taught me what trail riding really was, how to read a map properly, organised some brilliant rides all over the country and met people who are still ...

Re: TRF forum still offline

As I don't want to to get involved with facebook, cliquey little gangs or pay for the bunch of ego maniacs at the top's shenanigans have voted with my feet, and not renewed my membership. Enough people doing the same is the only thing that'll make any difference, as can't see them ever listening to ...

Re: Honda CRF250 Rally – best mods / upgrades

Have fitted the Hagon shock you mention to my CRF 250L this evening, as two friends have both fitted them and are very happy. Not tried it out properly though due to it slamming down with rain, but it does feel nice bouncing up and down in the garage :D Also liked the of 2 year warranty and rebuilda...
