I've signed up to do the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike on July 9 in aid of Macmillan. It's a 35km walk from Weymouth to Kingston, Corfe Castle along the South West Coast Path. If she's going to use the bike for commuting then best get it added to the insurance. If she had an accident at say 8am on a Tuesday morning, it could be very difficult to argue it away with an insurance company. Did you soak the offending bolts with wd40/pen oil etc a couple of times for a few days as advised prior to trying to remove ? the bolt heads shearing off is rather common on this job unfortunately fella I sprayed load of oil on the bolts, all to no avail. They had been on there for three years and...
